Valencia looked like a man low on confidence. Those goals will do him the world of good.
Can't believe some of the criticism our skipper gets on here especially when we're losing. He had a decent game last night. Great tackle on Stanislas.
Big test on Saturday against Newcastle. Don't think they're as bad as their league position suggests.

Imagine Sakho of last season getting on the end of those through balls from Payet. I think if there's one position we could strengthen it is the striker. With Payet feeding him, a decent striker would be on 25 goals a season.
The geezer is immense.

Didn't have a Danny La Rue it was windy, until Adrian cleared one that came down about 20 yards from where it started. It possibly affected the goal he chucked in, but it was hard to see how.
We got the impression the second half would be one way though.
A highlight at home was reading Rodfarts post about Bilic having to answer questions. That got a few laughs.

Well done to Team and Bilic...
Payet...Valencia delivered the Goals...and Sublime skills from Payet...we need more of the same from them for the rest of the season...
Defence stayed strong...except for uncharacteristic backing off and rare Adrian slip for their goal...their CF also had 2 chances he should have scored..
Sharp move by Bilic putting Jenkinson on...added bite down the right...
Full marks to Antonio...strong...tireless...always a threat and his control and passing improving every game...2 free kicks he won led to goals...
Noble led by example ...never stopped running...couple of dodgy moments...but a real Captain's game...
Losing Carroll early on was a major setback...but as soon as Payet got motoring we recovered and took control...and never really lost it...
Highly enjoyable and positive match overall to get revenge in such a strong and decisive way...
Great Stuff...!!!

Jasnik - Yep, that didn't escape me either. Two goals clear in injury time and there he is sweating blood to the death, you have to credit that. He is obviously a very fit lad.
